Attaching Templates & Evidence to Requirements

Each compliance requirement allows you to attach templates and evidence to demonstrate adherence and streamline audits.

Accessing Requirement Details

  1. From the Requirements section, select a framework and requirement.

  2. Click on a requirement (e.g., NG_DAS_VASP_292).

  3. A Compliance Rule panel opens, showing:

    • Details Tab (reference, reporting period, license type)

    • Tasks Tab (task configuration options)

Attaching Templates

Templates are predefined forms, checklists, or documents used for compliance activities.

Steps:

  1. In the Templates section:

    • Enter a URL if the template is hosted online.

    • Or click + Attach Template to select a local file.

  2. Supported formats: .pdf, .docx, .pptx, .csv, .zip, .xlsx, .json.

  3. Click Upload Template to save.

Once uploaded, the template will be linked to the requirement for repeated use.

Attaching Evidence (Documents)

Evidence validates compliance with the requirement (e.g., reports, logs, contracts).

Steps:

  1. In the Attach an Evidence (or Document) section:

    • Select Yes under “Attach an Evidence”.

    • Enter a URL if the evidence is hosted online.

    • Or click + Attach File to upload from your system.

  2. Accepted formats: .pdf, .docx, .pptx, .csv, .zip, .xlsx, .json.

  3. Click Upload Document to finalize.

Uploaded evidence will be stored and linked directly to the compliance requirement for audit tracking.

Best Practices

  • Use Templates Consistently: Ensure all users work with the same approved formats.

  • Update Evidence Regularly: Replace outdated evidence with the latest reports or logs.

  • Audit Readiness: Keep both templates and evidence attached for each requirement to simplify compliance reviews.

  • Version Control: When uploading new versions, clearly name files with version/date.
