Bank of Ghana Digital Regulatory Sandbox Overview

The Digital Regulatory Sandbox platform serves as a supportive environment for businesses, particularly Financial Service Providers in the financial technology (FinTech) sector, enabling them to test innovative products and business models in a real-world context while benefiting from regulatory oversight and guidance.

The Bank of Ghana’s (BOG) Digital Regulatory Sandbox (DRP)/ Beyond Sandbox is a cloud-based platform designed to facilitate connections with BOG regulators, helping you bring your innovative solutions to market effectively.

Within the Beyond Sandbox, you will gain access to essential information while adhering to a structured, regulator-defined process. If you aim to operate in Ghana, the Beyond Sandbox platform provides a pathway for you to navigate the application process for Sandbox participation.

You can embark on this journey with just a few straightforward steps.

Account Setup


To join the BOG’s Sandbox environment, you must first sign up using your email address and create a password. This process marks the initial step in establishing your account as a Financial Service Provider. Once you have these credentials, you will be equipped to explore the Digital Regulatory Sandbox.

Sign up 

To access the BOG’s Digital Regulatory Sandbox, go to: https://bog.gh.app.emtech.com 



To begin the registration process, navigate to the login page and select the “Sign Up” link.

You will then be prompted to fill in the necessary information to establish your account on the platform.

Once you have completed the required fields, please review and accept the Terms of Use, and then click the “Sign Up” button located at the bottom of the page.





After completing the sign-up process, you will receive an email containing a verification link. To finalize your account setup, simply click on this link, which will confirm your email address and activate your account.

Sign In 

Once you have successfully verified your account, you can log in to the DRP platform by entering your registered email address along with the password you created during the sign-up process. 



Enter the verification code sent to your email for 2nd factor authentication and sign in.
