Metrics Library - Beyond Sandbox

The Metrics Library is designed for Sandbox participants to create, view, and manage analytics on their activity within the Sandbox.

Accessing the Metrics Library

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, select Metrics Library.

  • You will see a list of available metrics, each with details such as:

    • Name (e.g., Transaction Value by Asset Type).

    • Type (e.g., Bar, Pie, Line, Table, Map).

    • Last Updated timestamp.

This view provides an overview of all metrics that you or your organization have created and stored.

Exploring Existing Metrics

  • Click the 3 dots on any listed metric to open and view its details.

  • Use visualizations (charts, tables, or maps) to analyze the data trend.

  • Metrics can represent, for example:

    • Transaction values and volumes.

    • KYC (Know Your Customer) distribution and verification levels.

    • User activity by geography.

    • Asset breakdowns and transaction frequencies.

Creating a New Metric

To create a custom metric:

  1. Click Create Metrics (top-right corner of the Metrics Library).

  2. Pick your starting data:

    • Select a dataset (e.g., Payment Service Transactions, Crowdfunding Campaigns, or API Requests).

    • Use the search bar to find the relevant dataset.

  3. Set Filters:

    • Narrow your scope by applying conditions (e.g., transactions above a certain value, specific asset classes, or time ranges).

  4. Summarize Data:

    • Define the metric logic, such as:

      • Sum of Transaction Value by Asset Type.

      • Count of Users by Country.

      • Volume of Transactions grouped by KYC level.

  5. Customize Your Query:

    • Options include:

      • Filter – refine results.

      • Summarize – aggregate data (sum, average, count, etc.).

      • Join Data – combine multiple datasets.

      • Sort – arrange results.

      • Custom Columns – create calculated fields.

  6. Click Visualize to preview your data.

  7. Save your metric for reuse and tracking.

Managing Metrics

  • Saved metrics remain available in your Metrics Library for continuous use.

  • Use the search bar to quickly locate specific metrics.

  • Update or adjust existing metrics by editing filters, summaries, or visualizations.

The Metrics Library empowers Sandbox participants to self-monitor and generate insights that align with both business goals and regulatory expectations.
